La Costa Valley is THE master planned community on the southern boundary of Carlsbad that abuts the northern boundary of Encinitas, just east of El Camino Real.  It is one of four communities in the Villages-of-La-Costa subdivision map that was developed by Fred Arbuckle of Morrow Development in the mid-1990′s.  Most importantly for parents, the community is served by the renowned San Dieguito Union school district.  La Costa Valley was built out by seven separate home builders from 1998 and 2001.  Those home builders were:  Shea Homes, Standard Pacific Homes, Centex Homes, K Hovnanian, Greystone Homes, Davidson Homes and Kaufman and Broad.  If you know your ‘home builder trivia’ you probably know that Greystone was acquired by Lennar Homes and that Kaufman and Broad later became KB Homes.   So why are the builders names important?  Style, quality, floorplan and dirt chaco.  These home builders purchased large tracts of dirt and knew exactly what each lot was worth.  Knowing where these choice lots are is critical to buyers looking for a home in La Costa Valley and understanding where the most valuable lots are in each neighborhood and what issues exist with each home or builder, if any at all.  That’s where we come in.  We are original residents, the #1 buyers agents in La Costa Valley and are the 3rd generation of North County Coastal real estate brokers.  Being armed with us on your team gives you an unfair advantage as we know every home on every lot in every neighborhood.  While all other websites merely give you a macro view of La Costa Valley comparing apples to oranges, our site allows you to compare apples to apples or lemons to lemons.

La Costa Valley provides what so many communities desire:  perfectly-sized homes, a world-class recreational infrastructure, an outstanding elementary school and a location drenched in sun and naturally cooled by balmy Pacific breezes…did I mention rack rate Mello Roos and an HOA fee that costs less than your monthly cable bill?

The Valley Club is the centerpiece to La Costa Valley that was sold with the slogan, “Beverly Hills meets Mayberry”, and is home to mostly upper-middle class families. The Valley Club has social activities, a large swimming pool and two tennis courts. The El Camino Creek Elementary School is located in La Costa Valley. The middle school is the older Oakcrest school located in central Encinitas and older students are served by the newer La Costa Canyon High School. Chaco.
